The Black-and-red travel to Inter & Co stadium to play against Orlando City SC for week 5. D.C. United looks to keep an unbeaten streak (1-0-3) and extend their all-time regular season wins to 11 against a regular Orlando City that has won one, tied one, and lost two. In their last result, Orlando tied against the runner-up, NY Red Bulls, of the 2024 MLS season. While D.C. United had a goalless draw against CF Montreal. The last time they met, Orlando dominated D.C. United 5-0 at home.

D.C. United has had a consistent start compared to the past few seasons and is eager to continue showing aggressiveness and resilience to continue their unbeaten run. This is an international window during which the black-and-red will be missing defender Kye Rowes (Australia) and defender Matti Peltola (Finland). Orlando will be missing defender, David Brekalo (Slovenia), goalkeeper, Pedro Gallese (Peru), and midfielder, Colin Guske (USA U-18).
During the pre-match press conference D.C. United coach, Troy Lesesne mentioned: "It will be a difficult to come out of this match undefeated. I'd like to see us finish matches where we can take all three points. We're happy to not have any losses and hope to continue to add more wins". On Orlando City he said: "They have so many individual players. They have really good players in Angulo, Ojeda, Muriel... if they get isolated, they can beat you and hurt you. We should not let them get comfortable on the ball, and make sure we get behind the ball every time we get broken and recover for one another."
The game is scheduled to start 7:30 pm on Saturday, March 22nd, and will be streamed on Apple MLS Season Pass.
